For our Good Friday service at Aldersgate in 2022, we held a memorial service for Jesus, using parts of the UM Service of Resurrection, and as though he had recently died. As we were in the Gospel of John, we wrote tributes from 4 characters from the Gospel of John (Nicodemus, Thomas, the Samaritan Woman at the Well, and Mary the Mother of Jesus. I thought our four readers/actors did great, and it ended up being more powerful than I thought. This is a link to one of them, which should then lead you to the “Playlist” with all four.
